This training

Has this requirement:

You’ll need an Azure subscription in which you have administrative-level access.

Can you check this permission before trying to run scripts? E.g I had permission "Contributor", and the script has failed rather than stop and notify user about lack of permissions

    Hi Gennadi Gretchkosiy,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We understand from your query that you are experiencing difficulties executing the lab scripts due to insufficient permissions.

As mentioned in the documentation note and reiterated in your query, it is mandatory to have an Azure subscription with administrative-level access.

Before commencing the lab exercise, it is essential to ensure that the necessary level of permissions is in place within your Azure subscription.

To verify permissions, sign in to the Azure portal and enter "Users" in the search box. Then, select the relevant user and review Azure role assignments under the "Manage" tab to determine the role assigned to that user.

The user should inspect their Azure subscription role assignments to ascertain if they possess "Owner" or "Administrator" access.

If the user lacks "Owner" or "Administrator" access, they will need to request it from someone within their organization who holds the appropriate permissions, such as a tenant administrator or Global administrator.

Once the user has attained the requisite access level, they can proceed to run the scripts and verify their functionality.

If you continue to encounter issues, please do not hesitate to inform us. We are more than happy to assist you.

If you find the information helpful, we kindly ask you to consider clicking the "Upvote" and "Accept Answer" buttons on the post.
