Pb Windows Server 2022 License

Question

We have a Windows Server 2022 licensed host which allows us to use its license for 2 VMs under Hyper V. o However, we had to reformat it and we reused this license for the Host o We created a VM using this license and we deactivated the license before deleting the VM o Despite this, we can no longer use this license even though “normally” it should still be available twice

it seems that this license is permanently blocked. What can we do to unlock the license and reuse it for the other VM ?

Hello,

In this case, we recommend you could activate by phone,

1. Press Windows logo key + R, type slui 4 in the Open box, and select OK.
2. Select your location (or the location nearest to you) from the drop-down list, and then select Next.
3. Call one of the available phone numbers listed. An automated system will guide you through the activation process.
4. If you're not able to complete activation successfully, you will be connected to Microsoft support for your region and country.
