Change Billing Contact Information
- Sign in to the Azure Account Center:
- Go to the Azure Account Center.
- Sign in with your Azure account credentials.
- Update Billing Profile:
- Navigate to the Billing section.
- Select Billing profiles from the left-hand menu.
- Choose the billing profile you want to update.
- Click on Edit billing profile.
- Update the email address under the Contact information section.
- Save the changes.
- Update the email address under the Contact information section.
- Click on Edit billing profile.
- Choose the billing profile you want to update.
- Select Billing profiles from the left-hand menu.
- Navigate to the Billing section.
- Go to the Azure Account Center.
Change Alerts Contact Information
- Sign in to the Azure Portal:
- Go to the Azure Portal.
- Sign in with your Azure account credentials.
- Navigate to Service Health:
- In the left-hand menu, click on Monitor.
- Under Monitor, select Service Health.
- Update Action Group for Alerts:
- Go to Alerts under Service Health.
- Select Manage action groups.
- Choose the action group you want to update or create a new one if needed.
- In the action group configuration, you can specify the email addresses for receiving alerts.
- Make sure to update the email address in the Notifications section (Email/SMS message/Push/Voice).
- Set Up or Update Alerts:
- If you have existing alerts configured, ensure they are using the updated action groups.
- If you need to create new alerts, follow the prompts to set up the conditions and link them to the action groups with the correct email addresses.
- If you have existing alerts configured, ensure they are using the updated action groups.
- In the action group configuration, you can specify the email addresses for receiving alerts.
- Choose the action group you want to update or create a new one if needed.
- Select Manage action groups.
- Go to Alerts under Service Health.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Monitor.
- Go to the Azure Portal.
Additional Steps
- Check Azure Cost Management + Billing:
- In the Azure portal, go to Cost Management + Billing.
- Ensure that the billing contact information matches what you updated in the Azure Account Center.
- Check for any additional settings that might need updating.
- Azure Service Health Email Notifications:
- In the Azure portal, under Service Health, set up or update Service Health alerts to ensure notifications are sent to the correct email addresses.
