Hello

We know that google has deprecated web-view sign-in support. So if app authenticates users with an embedded web-view and you're using Google federation with Entra B2B for external user, Gmail users won't be able to authenticate.

Would this change affect Windows apps that use the Web Account Manager (WAM) ?? My understanding is WAM also opens up embedded webview.

Thanks.

    Hi @testuser7

    Thank you for post!

To answer your question, The deprecation of Google's web-view sign-in support will not affect Windows apps that use WAM. It does not rely on Google's web-view sign-in support, and therefore, the recent change will not impact WAM's functionality.
