To make calls outside of the company directory using Team Phone with calling plan, the following requirements must be met:
- The user must have a valid license for Team Phone with calling plan.
- The user must have a phone number associated with their account.
- The user must have a calling plan that includes the ability to make calls outside of the company directory.
- The user's account must be configured to allow outbound calls.
To set up the ability for the user to make calls outside of the company, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Microsoft Teams admin center.
- Click on "Users" in the left-hand menu.
- Find the user in question and click on their name.
- Click on the "Calling" tab.
- Under "Calling Plans", make sure the user has a calling plan that includes the ability to make calls outside of the company directory.
- Under "Phone numbers", make sure the user has a phone number associated with their account.
- Under "Voice policy", make sure the user's policy allows outbound calls.
