    Hi Mohamed Tarek,

We appreciate your engagement on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

As mentioned by Vahid Ghafarpour, no subscription is required to create an Azure storage account in the Azure portal in order to complete the module.

The second module of the "Get started with data engineering on Azure" learning path introduces Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, a cloud-based solution tailored for data lake storage within Microsoft Azure. It builds upon Azure Blob Storage, offering a suite of features optimized for big data analytics workloads.

The module "Introduction to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2" delves into the fundamental features and advantages of ADLS Gen2, providing practical insights into its configuration within an Azure Storage account through illustrative screenshots from the Azure portal.

Although an Azure storage account is not mandatory for module completion, learners can effectively grasp the concepts outlined in the module with the aid of provided reference visuals.
