Azule portal issue : Sign-in failed, Error code: AADSTS500014

I can't log-in the portal.

May I know how to initialize the azure environment?

You should get an error as: The service principal for resource 'https://xxxxx' is disabled.

That resource could be expired or disabled.

This indicate that a subscription within the tenant has lapsed, or that the administrator for this tenant has disabled the application, preventing tokens from being issued for it. Thanks for your question.

Based on the error, I will recommmend:

Login to your Azure Portal and navigate to your subscriptions.

Confirm the status of the subscription. If it is inactive, that is the issue. If it is active proceed thus:

Navigate to Entra ID

Navigate to App registrations section and locate the referenced appID

Under Properties, check if the application is enabled. If it is disabled, enable it.

NB: you need admin privileges or you have to contact admin.

Thank you for your advice, really appreciate it.

However, I saw the same error messages in the below process.

Login to your Azure Portal and navigate to your subscriptions.

Only I can log in via Azure CLI, but not familiar with the command.

I confirmed that my subscription is still active.

No Subscription name Subscription ID Tenant

You can login to azure via CLI via any of the below in doc here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/authenticate-azure-cli

If you can login then please check the service principal mentioned above to see if it is enabled. You can do that using Step 2 above.
