Hi everyone,

I need to change the Microsoft account on my laptop, but I'm not sure of the correct process. If anyone could explain the steps in detail, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is my problem:

  1. I need to sign out of the current Microsoft account.
  2. Then, I need to sign in with a new Microsoft account.

If someone could provide a step-by-step guide or share a link to a video that explains this process, I would be very grateful.

    Hello,

By design, you can only switch from a local user account.

For official guidance, please refer to the following link:

Change from a local account to a Microsoft account

If you wish to create a local user, follow the instructions provided here:

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows

    Your steps should be:

    1. Log out of your Microsoft account.
    2. Log in with your local account.
    3. Log out again.
    4. Log in with another Microsoft account.
