Cannot access my files in SharePoint

Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

My business partner and I can no longer access our business documents in SharePoint Site.

We are getting access errors “Hmmm… can't reach this pageCheck if there is a typo in xxx.sharepoint.com”.

We're concerned our account has been hacked as we haven't changed anything on our side

Hi @Iniobong Nkanga,How did you access the documents, via shared links? If you accessed the documents through shared links, please check whether the link has expired. It's also possible that the SharePoint site is temporarily down or has been moved to a new web address. Check with your SharePoint administrator to see if there are any known issues.

I can see the link in my MS365 account (see image below, but it no longer is accessible when I click on it) and I have a shortcut in my browser. My business partner sees exactly the same behaviour.

We Checked for typos in the URL but no typos.

We have Cleared the browser's cache.

We have Flush the DNS cache by opening the command prompt and typing ipconfig /flushdns but it didn’t work.

We have Renew our IP address with the command ipconfig /release followed by ipconfig /renew but it didn’t work.

I doubt if the sharepoint site is temporarily down as we last uploaded on May 16th, so it's been inaccessible for weeks. if it has been moved, it was not by us. That would be a concern if someone else did it.

This is our only folder in the MS365 Cloud.

I am not aware of any changes to the DNS set-up, but i suspect this is an area worth investigating. My DNS is hosted in AWS, but my MS365 account is sourced via GoDaddy.

Much appreciated for your update.

In your scenario, I suggest you open a service request with Microsoft. According to your description, I think this is not a client problem but more like a problem with the cloud server backend which client users have no way to access. MS experts can have a remote session with you, collect logs and help you check form the backend.
