A question about New Zhuyin Input Method when typing in the websocket chat web
I am a web developer. Our team has developed a chatroom using WebSocket technology. We encountered an issue during its usage: customers in mainland China do not have any problems, but recently we received feedback from users in Taiwan.
They reported that when using the New Zhuyin Input Method built into the Windows system in Taiwan, the text they typed in the input box sometimes changes after pressing Enter to send it. For example, they want to type "今年營收" (this year's revenue), which is spelled as "rup su06u/6g." using the New Zhuyin Input Method. However, after sending, it might appear as "今年營ㄕㄡ" (this year's yingshou). After investigating through a meeting, I found that the user's spelling was actually completed when they pressed Enter, and it was correctly displayed in the input box. But after sending, it reverts to an incomplete state.
I want to know how to track this issue and whether it is related to the input method. I suspect that the input method might have some kind of "post-processing" behavior, or there might be differences between the New Zhuyin Input Method and input methods in mainland China, causing the webpage to be unable to correctly capture the completed input state. Thank you.
typing “請問今年營收” and press enter to send it, it change to “請問今年”, it has been cut, that's second question...
