PearsonVue notified me that I can't take my exam because Microsoft account has a different name than my legal name. It doesn't show in my profile, how do I correct this problem?

Thank you so much for the information but I submitted tickets, and no one can tell me anything. Everyone all said, submit tickets. But the tickets seemed to get into the abyss.

The support moderators over in Microsoft Credential forum are the ones that have the ability to change your legal name on your MCID profile.
After you ask your question over there please add a comment back here so I can double-check that you asked your question in the correct place.
Thanks for this note. I finally got a moderator sent me a private message, asking for the information and time to call me to resolve the issue on the ticket. I answered the private message with information, she asked for the time to call so I will stick with that ticket for now to see how far I can get with this.
Sounds like you are right track to get it fixed. That is normally how the process works.
When you get a chance please sign in using your "Gina Vu" account and click Accept Answer to close up this thread. It is different account than "Vu, Gina" that you just used.

Sorry if this sounds kind of dumb, but can't find the accept answer button? For the record, I got an acknowledgement that a ticket is open, the problem is not really fixed. I have separate accounts, one for work and the other for personal use but they both have the first and last legal name as close as the id with the order reversed (gina vu, or vu gina) so not quite sure what the other name comes from.
When you created this question you were signed in with your other account. That is why there is no Accept Answer showing up. If you sign out (of Q & A) and sign back in using your other account, the Accept Answer will show up.
I'm referring only to closing up this question, not your support ticket over in Microsoft Credentials forum. You want to leave that one open since you will be communicating back and forth with them over private message to get your name changed.
Hopefully that makes sense. If you give it a try and are unable to figure it out, then don't worry about it. Most important thing is for you to get your name changed so you can take exam.
