File system error [Errno30] file logs App Service Azure use a python code.

Hi everyone,

I am encountering the error OSError: [Errno 30] Read-only file system: log file generated by python code in App Service. I tried restarting the server many times but no error was detected. But when the server restarts itself when updating, I get this error. The logs file has full permissions (777). After the initial restart failed, App Service restarted the next time and worked normally. During the time between the error and the second restart, the Server is inactive. If anyone knows how to solve it, please let me know.

Could you please share more details about the issue to understand and to assist you better.

Are you seeing this error message in log stream logs when you are trying to enable the application logs of the app service to file system?

Are you trying to mount a storage account file share and trying to write the logs to the mount storage file share and facing this issue?

You have mentioned that post the second restart the issue got fixed and when you say server is inactive, does that mean you are not able to reach the app service?

Also, how you are confirming that the app service/server is inactive.

Have tried running the WebApp Down detector under the diagnose and solve problems of your app service during the error occurred time and second restart time to identify why the server is inactive.
