Does anyone know where I can get the latest version of sqlcesa35.dll from?

Hi Cathy, thanks for answering but no good I'm afraid. What I need is the hotfix described by "KB2628887 - Cumulative update package 6 for SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 2" which will update the sqlcesa35.dll from 3.5.8080 to 3.5.8088 ... or for someone who installed this when it was available to send me a copy of the 3.5.8088 version.

Microsoft have withdrawn the hotfix saying 'get Windows 10' instead - not going to work for me!

The sqlcesa35.dll actually comes with the server tools rather than the sql server compact setup itself. You can still download the server tools but they only give you the 3.5.8080 version. I'm trying to get replication going with SQL Server 2012 and for that you need the 3.5.8088 version

Did you meet the error message ‘Unable to load DLL 'sqlceme35.dll' ?

That's an assembly of "Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition, Version 3.5" and should be installed with the application.
