    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Azure doesn’t accept virtual or prepaid cards. Ensure you’re using a valid credit card or debit card. Please refer to the following links: azure-content/articles/billing-credit-card-fails-during-azure-sign-up.md at master · uglide/azure-content · GitHub

Please also ensure that the billing and shipping details in your Microsoft Account Center are complete and valid. Verify that the billing address registered for your credit card matches your bank records. For more details, see the official documentation: Troubleshoot issues when you sign up for a new account in the Azure portal - Microsoft Cost Management | Microsoft Learn

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu

    Hi unipin,

We appreciate your engagement with us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

In addition to @Yanhong Liu helpful response, here are some common reasons why you might be unable to sign up for an Azure account and steps to resolve them:

    1. Ensure that all card details, including the card number, expiration date, and CVV, are accurate.
    2. Some credit cards may have restrictions on international transactions or online purchases.
    3. Ensure that the card you are using is among the accepted types (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Prepaid and virtual cards are often not accepted.
    4. If you already have an Azure account linked to your email or card, you might not be able to create another one. Verify if there's an existing account.
