It is recommended that you go to the "Additional Security Verification" page: Under "Security Information", delete the authenticator.
You can also sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using your administrator credentials and follow the steps below to turn off Authenticator.
- Go to the Users > Active Users page.
- Select the user account for which you want to turn off Authenticator validation.
- In the user details pane, click the Manage Multi-Factor Authentication link.
- In the Multi-Factor Authentication page, select the user account again.
- In the right pane, click the Disable link next to the Authenticator App option.
