Azure Site Recovery Configuration gives "AADSTS165000: User session context missing" when using Edge

When attempting to login to Azure Appliance Configuration Manager I receive the following error after providing the 8-digit hexadecimal code to "Continue with Azure Login":

Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in. AADSTS165000: Invalid Request: The request did not include the required tokens for the user context. One or more of the user context values (cookies; form fields; headers) were not supplied, every request must include these values and maintain them across a complete single user flow. The request did not return all of the form fields. Failure Reasons:[Token was not provided;]

This error only happens when using Microsoft Edge - I can sign in successfully using Google Chrome with the same user.

This problem just started occurring after installing the May 2024 Windows Server patches.

I have tried the following fixes so far with no luck:

  • Reset Microsoft Edge settings to default
  • Delete all cookies on exit (including "www.microsoft365.com")
  • Reboot the server

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
