Yes. you are correct.
you can ask AAD admin or Microsoft 365 Admin to reset MFA so next time when you login it will allow you setup MFA on new phone.

Hi All,
I'm now using D365 Business Central, and I need to use the Authenticator app to verify when I log in with the BC users.
Recently, I needed to add these accounts to a new iPhone (verify them in the new iPhone's Authenticator app), and I have set up a backup on the previous one according to the documentation, the accounts have been added via iCloud but required action.
Back up and recover account credentials in the Authenticator app - Microsoft Support.
I tried to remove the users in the old iPhone and readd them in the new iPhone, but they disappeared. When I log in, the system keeps showing the number and asking me to approve the request, but as I said, the users have been removed from my iPhone and I cannot receive the request. I think maybe I need to re-scan the QR code, so may I know how can I get the QR code for BC users?
Thank you!
