    Hello Aditya Jha ,

Thank you for reaching out on the Microsoft Q&A .

You are correct. Azure OpenAI services are currently limited to approved enterprise customers and partners, as stated in the official documentation. Individuals cannot register for access to Azure OpenAI services for personal use.

However, you can still explore OpenAI's capabilities outside of the Azure environment. OpenAI offers a public API that you can access independently, and it provides a generous trial account balance, making it suitable for personal development endeavors. You can sign up for the OpenAI public API here.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Aditya Jha Greetings & Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

You are correct. you will be not be able to get access to Azure OpenAI on your personal.

As part of Microsoft's commitment to responsible AI, we are designing and releasing Azure OpenAI Service with the intention of protecting the rights of individuals and society and fostering transparent human-computer interaction. For this reason, we currently limit the access and use of Azure OpenAI, including limiting access to the ability to modify content filters and/or abuse monitoring.

I understand that you don't want to use in your company environment. One thing you can try is to create a free subscription and register with your company (official) emailid. Please note, recently there was a change done for Azure for Students and Free azure subscriptions and it was enabled again but with reduced quotas.

Your request will be reviewed by the gating team within 10 business days and post approval you will get an email with approval to access Azure OpenAI.

Also, Please add [maccount@microsoft.com] and [csgate@microsoft.com] to your Safe Senders list to ensure you receive all correspondence pertaining to your application, including the verification email from Microsoft Vetting Service. For questions about the application process, please contact our team at [csgate@microsoft.com]

If your access request to Azure OpenAI service doesn't match the acceptance criteria, you can use OpenAI public API instead.

I hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further queries.
