Hello, i want to bypass this error in edge: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID when accessing internal assets in my network. This is possible when using other browsers such as Firefox. Any help please?

Hi @I-med , One simple workaround is to type thisisunsafe in this page, and you will be redirected to the page you want shortly after that. thisisunsafe is a way to bypass security errors on Microsoft Edge. UPDATE Please note that you have the group policy SSLErrorOverrideAllowed disabled. It will stop you from proceeding from the warning page. That's why all these solutions are not working for you. You may need to contact your Administrator to grant you the permission to bypass the warning and modify the policy. After that, you are free to test these solutions again. thanks for the reply. i have also found this solution when searching for a solutions but it didn't work.

Either i didnt understand how to implement it, since i don't know where to write thisisunsafe in the page.

And if there is any tipps for permanent solution it would great.

Hi @I-med ,

The implementation is simple. Just type "thisisunsafe". There's no input interface or something like that. You can regard it as "cheat code" for the browser. This can act as a permanent solution as it won't show the warning anymore once you type that.

Another solution you can try is a command line option called: --ignore-certificate-errors. The implementation is Close all Microsoft Edge processes --> Right click on Edge icon --> Properties --> Shortcut --> Append --ignore-certificate-errors. So it looks like:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --ignore-certificate-errors

These 2 solutions all focus on bypassing the warning, which I assume are what you've been looking for.

Could you navigate to edge://policy/ and send me a screenshot via private message? You may have a group policy that is blocking you from bypassing the warning. I have sent a private message to you.
