How can we add more data to an Azure AI chatbot with the "Add your own data" feature? Is there a way to automate the process of updating this data on a daily basis?

When creating a data source with Blob, you can select the Indexer schedule as shown on the screen. The Indexer will import Blob data into Azure AI Search at scheduled intervals based on the settings.

Once the Indexer is established, you can also directly modify the schedule settings through the Azure AI Search Portal.

**Hi AshokPeddakotla-MSFT,**We appreciate your quick reply on this issue.

We followed the link you provided and found the solution.

We created an indexer and updated the blob file with the latest data on hourly basis. The Azure Open Ai studio chat playground shows the correct data based on latest data available in blob, and we deployed the same to web app, there its giving incorrect results.

Example:

Prompt: what is the most recent message type with date

AI studio giving: 06/02/2024 --> which is correct.

Web app giving: 07/02/2023 reference of citation 1--> which is not correct, we have data from 2022 onwards, but most recent one is 06/02/2024.

Could you please help me, how to fix this?

Naveen Kumar Korada Glad to hear it was helpful.

Since it was working on AI Studio and shows correct data, you may want to check if the web app is using the same indexer as the Azure Open AI studio chat playground. If not, you may want to update the web app to use the same indexer.

I used the Azure OpenAI studio to deploy the chat playground to the web app. However, I can't find any indexer reference in the web app. Do you know where I can check that setting?

Apologies for the delayed response. You need to check in the backend code of your deployed webapp. Access the backend deployed code using Kudu Console and let me know if that helps.

If that doesn't help, I suggest you, create a support ticket for further assistance since it needs deeper investigation to find out the root cause on why it is not working on the deployed webapp.
