How to use free tier for Language Service after a creation error

HI, we had a storage access error when creating our Language Service so we deleted the service to try again having fixed the error with a different storage (allowing anonymous access, using LRS). We could not find a way to point the partially created service to the new storage.

It is now longer than 24 hours since the deletion but we are still getting a message on Language Service creation that the free tier is in use. When we pick S tier, then we get as bit further but now the Search Service is showing as being used but we cannot pick the one from the first Language Studio either.

Any ideas, please?

Hello @Kate Taylor , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

Can you try resource purge/ Once a resource is purged, it is permanently deleted and cannot be restored. You will lose all data and keys associated with the resource.

Here is the documentation you can refer to: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/recover-purge-resources?tabs=azure-portal#purge-a-deleted-resource

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Vasavi
