What setting controls Azure DevOps discussion display

My team's user stories were copied to a new board last night. Today, the Discussion threads that were copied over are a complete mess of mumbled text for me. My teammates see it just fine. We have checked our resolutions and there are not any differences. What would cause this? I need to be able to read the Discussion threads.
