Hello,

I am trying to sign in to my mothers account, but when I do, it says that the account doesn't exist. However when I try to make a new account with my mothers email, it says that there is an account that exists with that email.

I checked my mothers email to see if Microsoft sent anything to her and they did. The email said that "Someone started a process to replace your security info for the Microsoft account," I didn't think much of it cause me nor my mam were able to remember her password so I changed it. But then that "Your security info will be info will be replaced with m2manxsh2@mcgg.fun," and I got the same email but with a different email "m2year513z@mcgg.fun."

So I was wondering if this email is a Microsoft email, or if someone hacked my mams account.

One last thing, when i tried to sign in from xbox it said "name@gmail.com is already being used with another Microsoft account"

Thank you in advance.
