We want to buy a number of Dell Win 11 Pro laptops straight from Dell but don't want all the bloatware or 'trials' that come with it.

If the New Dell laptops come with Win 11 pro licenses, can I re image them straight out of the box to a clean Microsoft Win 11 pro image using a USB pen containing Win 11 pro media downloaded from Microsoft?I've asked this question of our Dell rep but he wants to sell us a 'base platform they can install prior to shipping'

Any advise greatly appreciated :)

When a new Windows 11 computer is activated data is entered into Microsoft servers.

Once data has been entered into Microsoft servers it enables clean installs of either Windows 11 or 10.

Drivers can be backed up either before or after Windows updates enabling a quick reinstallation after the clean install.

The clean installs are then free of the factory installed bloatware.

    Hello Andy Borejko (LOFT),

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Yes, you can re-image the Dell laptops with a clean Microsoft Windows 11 Pro image using a USB pen containing the Win 11 Pro media downloaded from Microsoft.

However, it is important to note that doing so may void the warranty provided by Dell. Additionally, you may need to install additional drivers and software specific to the Dell laptops after re-imaging them. It is recommended to consult with Dell support or your Dell rep before proceeding with the re-imaging process.

Note: Please log in to your laptop with your Microsoft account before reinstalling the system, and bind your Microsoft account to your license.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
