When trying to find a file using the start menu search function, any keyboard inputs will instead select specific apps (eg. Typing M will swap between Mail, Microsoft Store, MyASUS, etc.). Left-clicking on the "Search for apps, settings, and documents" textbox at the top will immediately close the start menu.

You can try this command in your cmd:

Sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

I am having the same issue, but the scans w/ sfc & DISM didn't work and themselves returned no errors.

if possible upload what happens using screen recorder and upload that to gdrive and give link so that i can view and find solutions....

The newest update led to this on my PC, and it makes using Windows a gigantic PITA

Windows as an OS is becoming really tedious for average users to troubleshoot, and I can't imagine it's much more pleasant for power users either.
