Inconsistent Behavior while creating Events though outlook and Create Event API

I am able to create events /online meetings thru Create Event API but the gmail users are not able to view the Yes/No button with the invite and they are only able to select the option from the calendar.

But even from the calendar when they click and RSVP option, the response in not reaching to the sender's outlook or status is 'none' when checked thru Get event API.

Whereas when an invite is sent directly via Outlook, the gmail users sees the RSVP option in the invite itself and also the sender receives the response too and get event API also captures the response.

Why is there a difference between the event create directly and created via API?

Hi RoboPuri,

By following this documentation, I created and enabled an event as an online meeting Event, also added Gmail user (email address) as an attendee. This is done via Graph Explorer

When I checked Gmail, I saw the RSVP option. I also got a notification in my 365 account when the Gmail user responded to the RSVP.

did you test with newly created Gmail account? or is it another issue ?

Hi,

I think I found the issue, this is happening when the event is created in past which is valid enough to disable the RSVP.
