setup azure virtual wan to connect multiple vnets and not use vnet peering

i setup my virtual wan

setup my virtual hub

and connected 3 vnets and it shows connected and if i go to each vnets peering status it shows its peered with the virtual hub

but for some reason when i try ping or connect, i still cant, so is their something that am missing on my side?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

I understand that you have created a vHub and connected 3 Virtual Networks to this vHub but still not able to ping VMs from each VNET to the other.

Do you have a secured Hub or a normal vHub?

If it's a secured Hub, are you using Routing Intent?

Can you confirm if the below default settings are used in the connection?

It is quite possible that the VMs' OS Level firewall is blocking the connections.

Are you having Windows VMs are Linux VMs in the VNETs?

If Windows, please open an elevated CMD and run,
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ICMP Allow incoming V4 echo request" protocol=icmpv4:8,any dir=in action=allow

If Linux, please make sure no IPTables are blocking the ICMP Ping

In Windows, you can also check for Ports using,

From VM1, open elevated Powershell and run,
tnc <IP of VM2> -p 3389

From VM1, open elevated Powershell and run,
tnc <IP of VM3> -p 3389

Finally, from VM1, check the VM's Effective routes by following the steps here
