VT-x is not available in virtual machine running windows

Good day,

I have a quick question, I'm trying to install hyper-v on my virtual machine and boot the virtual machine.

But unfortunately I get the following error every time: VT-x is not available. I know that on a physical computer I have to enable the vt-x configuration in the bios, but since I cannot access the physical computer, that becomes difficult.

Does anyone know how I can fix this and how I can avoid this error or even have it removed?

Maybe this isn't possible at all, but I thought I'd ask.

I would like to hear from you.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards, Tobias Kasander.

Some virtualization software, like VMware Workstation Pro and VMware Fusion Pro, support nested virtualization, which allows you to run a hypervisor (like Hyper-V) inside a virtual machine. However, this feature is typically available only in paid versions and requires enabling nested virtualization support on the host system. Not all virtual machine software supports nested virtualization, so compatibility is crucial.

Alternatively, you may try VirtualBox, VMware Workstation Player etc

    Good day,

I looked and it depends on the size of the virtual machine, I have a Standard B2ms plan (2 vCPUs, 8 GiB memory) and unfortunately it doesn't work with that.

I then have to switch to another plan, which is not much cheaper for me than it is now.

But I thought if it was possible it would have been nice.

    Thanks anyway.

    Kind regards, Tobias Kasander.
