Hello @Syed Nomaan Ahmad Thank you for contacting us through Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!
If your Azure Visual Studio subscription (MPN) has been disabled despite not fully utilizing your monthly credits, there could be several reasons for this:
- Even if you haven't used your monthly credits completely, there might be other Azure services or resources that have been used, resulting in charges exceeding the available credit.
- There may have been issues with the payment method associated with your Azure subscription. This could include expired credit cards, insufficient funds, or other payment-related issues.
- Azure subscriptions, including Visual Studio subscriptions, have usage limits and quotas. If you exceed these limits, your subscription may be temporarily disabled until the issue is resolved.
Refer to the FAQ's - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/subscriptions/faq/subscriber/azure/#are-there-any-other-limitations-i-should-be-aware-of
- Azure has policies regarding acceptable usage, and if any violations occur, Microsoft may suspend or disable the subscription. This could include activities such as running prohibited services or resources. Check your email - For many violations of Terms of Service, you should receive an email sent to the address associated with your Azure subscription that provides additional information so that you can correct the violation. Check your email to see what action needs to be taken. Review the Terms of Service - Make sure that you review the Terms of Service so that you are aware of anything that may constitute a violation and take corrective action: Microsoft Azure Legal Information / Microsoft Azure Offer Details / Azure Terms of Service (you'll need to scroll down a bit) Create a support request - Violations are reviewed by our security team but if you feel that your case needs to be revisited, create a support ticket. You can do this either online or through the portal by searching for Help + support and clicking on Create a support request (Issue type: Subscription management / Problem type: Re-enable my subscription).
- Contact Azure billing and subscription management support for assistance if you're unable to determine the cause of the subscription disablement or if you believe it was done in error. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue. Here is the link - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request to create support case. FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/plans/
