Hello Microsoft Team,

When in Microsoft Teams, I like to use the ellipsis on a post to get to the option, Create Task. This allows me to access my Microsoft To Do app where I have lists made for my follow-ups. When in Microsoft, the Create Task option stopped working. It opens the window but it just shows a black screen and nothing populates.

  1. I've cleared cookies, cache, browsing history in the browser and also from selecting the padlock symbol in the Teams webpage and cleared cookies and site data.
  2. I right clicked on the Teams desktop app and selected quit.
  3. I've restarted and signed out of everything then signed back in NOTE: I can't figure out how to sign out of Microsoft To Do. Mircrosoft-Teams_Create-Task_1 Mircrosoft-Teams_Create-Task_2 I love this tool and I am sad. Please help. Kindest regards, Molly

    Hi @Molly Wiltshire

    Could you please tell me:

Does this problem only occur in the Teams desktop client?

Are you using New Teams instead of Teams Classic?

If you are using Teams Classic, please switch to New Teams and update to the latest version. Sometimes, failure to update in time will cause unknown errors in Teams.

If this problem only occurs in the Teams desktop client, you can try clearing the Teams desktop client cache instead of the browser cache:
