Hi all ,
Here is the scenario for which I am seeking suggestions:
Whenever our data jobs run to refresh dimensions and facts, and a Tableau extract refresh occurs simultaneously, the extracts report inflated metrics. When we validate, the metrics on the Tableau dashboard do not match those in the fact tables. There are no traces left to identify the cause of the inflated metrics on the Tableau dashboard. However, re-running the extract corrects the metrics on the dashboards. Has anyone experienced a similar issue, and if so, how can we prevent Tableau extract refreshes from coinciding with the data job runs dynamically?
