Next Version after HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\

Currently I'm checking for Office versions 14.0, 15.0 and 16.0. I want to prepare for the next version, but I don't know what it will be. For example: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office*16.0*\Excel\Options

Will it be 19.0 or 21.0 or what? I have searched many places but am unable to find the details.

That's not something that Microsoft is in the habit of disclosing. More importantly, whatever preparations you are doing, do not hardcode this value but rather consider it to be a parameter that can be easily set to an arbitrary value

Hi,

There is no official documentation to explain the future trend, as a long-term and ongoing product, Office 365 is version 16.0 and Office 365 will always be the latest Office product in terms of feature updates, unless a completely disruptive Office 365 product appears.
