How to fix '1639' error SQL Server 2022? Error: "Invalid command line argument. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help."

I have deleted remnant past failed installation files, including media and registry keys.
This is my error log: Detail.txt

    From your detail log, we can see that the first issue is here:

    This is due to the MSI incomplete install. Please check out this article, hope this can help you well and ensure the specified instance has been installed.

    In addition, you can try to reinstall SQL Server. Erland provides a useful thread; it explains the steps in detail.

    Having now seen your other post, I understand that you originally ran into the disk-sector problem. (Certainly not unexpected.)

    I have not run into this problem myself, but some time back another poster tried to recover from this mess and found this post: https://www.sql-easy.com/learn/how-to-uninstall-sql-server/ And, amazingly enough, after following the instructions, he was able to install SQL Server successfully.
