Rather than pasting such long files into the query window, it is better to attach them.

In the folder where you found this file, there is also a file detail.txt which has more details about what went wrong. We would need to see that file to say anything. But beware that Setup errors are notoriously difficult to assist with.

You want to install SQL Server 2014 full edition on Windows 8?

SQL Server 2014 is out-of-support, Windows 8 is out -of-support and I am not sure, if that combination was ever supported.

Windows 10 was released in 2015. Thus, the current Windows version at the time when SQL 2014 was released was Windows 8. So, yes, that was a supported combo back then.
