What license is required to redistribute Microsoft.Windows.SDK.NET.dll? Or should I not redistribute this library?

The nuget package page that contains this library: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.Windows.SDK.NET.Ref And License Info on the page: https://aka.ms/WinSDKLicenseURL

sdk_license.rtf is downloaded by the License Info link. This document indicates that the contents listed in REDIST.TXT are redistributable, and REDIST.TXT list can be downloaded from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=524842.

The REDIST.TXT page lists some contents, but does include Microsoft.Windows.SDK.NET.dll. Does this mean Microsoft.Windows.SDK.NET.dll should not to be redistributed? (I believe it is not so.)

Hi @Hideo Yamada , Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

Microsoft.Windows.SDK.NET.dll belongs to Microsoft and is continuously updated. You may not redistribute it.

You may use this library in your own development environment, provided that you comply with the relevant license terms.

If you plan to distribute this library as part of your application, you must ensure that you have the legal right to do so.

    Best Regards,

    Jiale
