    Hi @Manimegalai Periysamay

I’d be happy to help you choose the right Azure services for your e-commerce website.

    1. Azure App Service: This is a great choice for hosting your web app. Azure App Service offers several pricing tiers, from Free to Premium. The choice depends on your needs in terms of CPU power, memory, and additional features like custom domains and certificates, staging slots, autoscaling, and more. For an e-commerce website with hundreds of daily users, a Basic or Standard plan might be a good starting point.
    2. Azure SQL Database: This is a fully managed platform as a service (PaaS) database engine that adjusts to your needs. You can choose between provisioned and serverless compute tiers. The serverless model might be more cost-effective if your workload is intermittent and unpredictable.

It’s also important to monitor your applications to ensure they’re scaling as expected and to adjust your plans if necessary. Azure provides a range of tools to monitor usage and costs.

@Manimegalai Periysamay Welcome to Microsoft Q&A thanks for posting your question.

Choosing the right subscription plan for your Azure App Service and Azure SQL Database can be a bit complex, as it depends on various factors such as expected traffic, database size, and specific requirements of your e-commerce website.

For an e-commerce website with a significant amount of daily traffic, you might want to consider a plan that offers scalability, high availability, and performance.

Azure App Service offers several pricing tiers, from Free to Premium, which you can choose based on your needs. The Free and Shared tiers are more for testing purposes, while the Basic, Standard, Premium, and Isolated tiers offer more robust features suitable for production environments.

For Azure SQL Database, there are also several pricing tiers available, ranging from the basic tier to the premium tier. The basic tier is a good option for small databases with low usage, while the premium tier is designed for large databases with high usage.

In terms of cost, serverless is a good option for reducing costs as it allows you to pay only for the resources used by your app However, it's important to note on performance.
