How to setup Microsoft MFA Authenticator for users accessing my public web site

Question

I would like to setup Microsoft MFA authentication for users accessing my public web site.

These are not corporate users from my company, these are for general web users.

Is there a way to do that using Microsoft Authenticator?

For example

User opens the web portal [e.g. https://www.mywebsite.com] and the user is requested for user name and password and a MFA authentication is sent to their phone to approve the login. Once MS Authenticator validates the user they are granted access to the site.

Is this possible? Or is Microsoft Authenticator aimed at only corporate Azure accounts.
