Hi,

I am to transfer all my emails from University Account that operates with MS Office 365 Outlook (Syracuse Univ., NY). I have been suggested Microsoft 365 Personal. As I have Office Home version, I would go with Microsoft 365 Basic. I have a question: Does purchase of 365 Basic that has Outlook have File-->Export, then .pst (PST file) generation capability?

When Yes, I seek to transfer University emails to a created Hotmail Account - Am I am thinking right? Is there any other means also? I would prefer to go as suggested to me. Thank you. -Deepak

Yes, Microsoft 365 Basic’s Outlook does include the capability to import and export emails using the .pst file format.

As far as I know, it is feasible to use the import/export .pst feature when moving Outlook items from one email account to another. More information, see: Import email, contacts, and calendar from an Outlook .pst file.
