Hi All,

one of our user recently changed his AD account password and now he is unable to access his all network drives.

After every each login his AD account gets locked and get the attached error.Image

Please advise.

    Hello,

    Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

    This issue may be caused by credentials stored on the user's system, so you can try clearing cached credentials:

    On the user's computer, open the Credential Manager (User Accounts Control Panel > Credential Manager > and delete any saved credentials related to network drives).

    Also, if the drives are mapped with old passwords, it may also cause account lockouts. To do this, you can disconnect existing mapped drives, then reconnect them and enter the new password when prompted.

    If the above does not resolve the issue, try the Lepide Account Lockout Checker tool to diagnose and resolve account lockout issues. Please refer to the link: How to Find Account Lockout Source in Active Directory (lepide.com)
