Email from Office 2013 Won't Open in MS365

I have a 2-year old email originally from Outlook 2013 that I had saved to the desktop of an old PC. I got a new PC recently and transferred it to my new desktop. I can't open it. The new PC is running Windows 11 AND Microsoft 365.

When I left-click to open, I get a message stating I need MS365. That's it. No options. When I right-click and hit “Open With”, I’m offered the choice of Outlook (New), Outlook and Search the Microsoft Store. Choosing Outlook New takes me back to the message saying I need 365. Choosing plain Outlook leads me to a set-up wizard for Outlook 2016 which I’m not doing for fear of interfering with MS 365. Choosing the Microsoft Store might have possibilities I don't know... BUT having clicked it, the dang icon won't delete off my taskbar.

The email is important and I want the icon off the taskbar Any ideas for both of these?
