Negative values in "average burdown widget"

Hi there!Could someone clarify what it means when a negative value is reflected in the average burndown in the Azure "sprint burndown" widget?

I read and it says that "A negative value indicates that you are completing work faster than expected. That is, you are reducing the backlog at a faster rate than initially planned." is this true?

It is confusing for me to understand this because currently they have entered 39 tasks into the sprint and they have 41 tasks without starting, that is why I do not understand that metric

I appreciate any help you can provide!
