Cancelling Subscription without losing resources

I developed a solution in Azure that uses Cosmos DB, IoT Hub, and and Azure Function. These are the only resources that exist in my subscription. This solution was created to promote my company's IoT product and its ability to connect to Azure. Now that my development is done, I would ideally like to cancel or pause my subscription so I would not get charged since I am no longer using my resources. However, I would like to access my resources at a later date if a customer shows interest in our product's IoT functionality with Azure.

However, it seems like cancelling my subscription will delete the resources that took me time to develop. Is this true? Is there a way to cancel or pause my subscription where I can re-activate in the future and not lose my resources? I do not care about losing my data in Cosmos DB, I just don't want to lose my resources.

After your subscription is canceled, Microsoft waits 30 - 90 days before permanently deleting your data in case you need to access it or you change your mind. We don't charge you for keeping the data.

does "data" include the resources that I have created

After you cancel, your services are disabled. That means your virtual machines are de-allocated, temporary IP addresses are freed, and storage is read-only.
