SCCM 2403 and ADR and Windows 10 Update question / Issue

Hi,

I have SCCM version 2403 and I have created a monthly ADR for Windows 10 Client Update. I can see, it download all the KB's, I defined for Windows 10 Client an deploy it to the Colllection and the Deployment Package is fine too and can see all the KB's.

But some Windows Client machine dont get the Update, but if I go the properties----> Deployment of the Windows Client Machine, I see the there the KB I have deployed.

All the Windows 10 Client machine get, if I deploy Application or Package. But not Windows Update.

What is here wrong? How can I checked it why some Windows 10 Client does not get Update? How can I redeploy it? How can I force it? Is it SCCM DB issue? Or Deployment ID issue?

If I check the Log File "UpdatesDeployment.log"

see the following Error

• GetUpdateInfo - failed to get targeted update, error = 0x87d00215.
• Job error (0x80004005) received for assignment ({50695876-6de7-4fe0-83ab-54bc105992ca}) action

If I check the Log File "WUAHandler.log"

• Unable to read existing WUA Group Policy object. Error = 0x80004005.
• Failed to Add Update Source for WUAgent of type (2) and id ({1E2BACE5-A6EC-49F2-877F-C7D01DC6A5CC}). Error = 0x80004005.

the Status Message from Winnows Client machine:

The client failed to download policy. The data transfer service returned "BITS error: 'HTTP status 404: The requested URL does not exist on the server.

' Context: 'The error occurred while the remote file was being processed.

'" (-2147024894).

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum again.

According to the error message in WUAHandler.log, this could be due to the corrupt local group policies on the client machine.

We may try to regenerate the Registry.pol file follow this article to see if it helps:

1. On the client computer, go to C:\Windows\System32\GroupPolicy\Machine.
2. Backup the Registry.pol file to a different folder or simply rename it, something like Registry.old.pol.
3. Restart the SMS agent host service (SCCM client agent service-CCMEXEC).
4. Finally re-run the Software Updates Scan Cycle in the Configuration Manager Actions tab.
