We upgraded to Configuration Manager version 2309 last week, and found that the automatic client upgrade option is grayed out under Hierarchy Settings Properties\Client upgrade, we are unable to configure automatic client upgrade now. What can be the problem?

    Hi @haydentleon-6252 ,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Which user you are using to launch Configuration Manager console? The reason why the client upgrade options are greyed out may be because the user doesn’t have enough permissions to access the ConfigMgr objects. You can assaign permissions to the user or use another user with correct permissions to have a try.
