Microsoft Authenticator Access for Admins on New Device

I recently switched to a new iPhone without first backing up MS Authenticator, the only MFA method I set for my accounts, so I am unable to authenticate using my phone number or backup email.

I have tried contacting global support multiple times, but I haven't been able to reach anyone. I am the only admin so there is no one who can grant me access on the backend.

It appears notifications for MS Authenticator are still going to my old device, which I no longer have access to. Apple has informed me that they cannot remove the old device from my Apple ID for 30 days.

I created a new business account and started a chat with a representative, which led to a callback. However, the representative couldn't assist me because my issue requires a specialist.

Could a specialist please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this issue?

@iknowjazmyn Thank you for reaching out to us, in order to restore the access to your account, refer to this QnA post - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1455267/global-admin-account-locked-unable-to-access-entra where all details related to tenant lockout are mentioned.

Would recommend reaching out to our support contact during the business hours of your region, further they will create a case with our support team, make sure you share the correct contact details like phone & mobile (where you can be reached).

On validating your details by our support team, they will assist you to restore the access.

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.
