Why does data collection from the processor time performance counter work not work on Windows 10 versions?

Question

We monitor several servers using the Zabbix software, and the item that collects CPU time is not supported in Windows 10 versions, in the log I see:

PerfCounter '\ Processor (_Total) \% Processor Time': [0xC0000BB9] The specified counter could not be found.

I found that the problem is with Windows 10, because with the following servers there was no problem with an item not supported by an uninitiated collector.

The problem does not occur:
Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter
Windows 2012 R2 Standard
Windows 2012 Standard
Windows 7 Profissional

The problem occurs:
Windows 10 Pro
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC

As your issue is more related with a third party software, we recommend to contact Zabbix support or community for more resources, they should be more familiar with their product.

Or you could wait for other customers if they experience the same behavior with you.

Hi,

We could add counter in Performance monitor(Data Conllector Sets\User Defined\right click\New\Data collector\Performance counter data collector\Next\Add) on those different system devices and compare them to check if any changes like Zabbix shows.
