I'm also having RDP issues after Big Sur update. My issues is after connecting, the window rapidly "flickers" I'm running OS X 11.0.1 and RDP client 10.4.1. Turning off hardware acceleration doesn't work.
mrd doesn't run with macos big sur
I tried to use Microsoft Remote Desktop with macOS big sur through a secure connection form the website of my work (that include a vpn access point (SSL VPN Agent), but despite the vpn agent show me a message that informs me "microsoft remote desktop launched" the program doesn't run and I can't connect with my work desktop on the remote server. Any suggestion?

1.If VPN is involved, please kindly test by updating VPN version like have Cisco AnyConnect updated which is the resolution shared in another similar thread.2.You could also try steps to Turning off hardware acceleration:
Go to Microsoft Remote Desktop > preferences > General Tab> uncheck “Use hardware acceleration“.3.Please try the beta version which included the newest testing features than the officially released version:

2020-11-23T08:50:43.42+00:00 Hi,
I downloaded the beta version, but mrd doesn't work. Just to clarify all the steps that I need to do for connecting to my remote desktop:
- open the application called SSN VPN Agent;
- insert my username, password and goggle authenticator code;
- on the personal work page on website, I have to click on remote desktop for Mac;
- before to install Big Sur, microsoft Remote Desktop it opened, now it doesn't work and I can't have access to my remote desktop.
Any suggestion to solve this issue?
Thank you

1.open the application called SSN VPN Agent;
Not sure if this is the tool you are used and i found it will be End-Of-Support soon. Probably there will be compatibility issue with latest version of Mac, for which you could confirm with their support and support of Apple.
