Set up Azure AD Application Proxy for IaaS RDWeb server in Azure

Hi All,

In Azure Iaas I have two virtual servers Windows Server 2016
1st server is a domain controller + RD Gateway
2nd server is an RDS server where I want to publish an application for external access
I downloaded and installed Microsoft Azure AD Application Proxy Connector
In Azure AD I have Azure Premium P1 license and hence Application Proxy feature is enabled.
I configured application proxy for a published application this way

A CNAME record is created to point hostname.domain.com to hostname.domain.msappproxy.net
Unfortunately, when I test it nothing happens and I get a blank webpage.
Did I miss anything to configure?

For scenarios with Remote Desktop Service and Azure AD Application Proxy working together, both the RD Web and RD Gateway endpoints must be located on the same machine and with a common root. RD Web and RD Gateway are published as a single application with Application Proxy for SSO as documented in the requirements here.

Also, make sure that you have completed all the steps required to joint RDS and Application Proxy scenario as documented here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/application-proxy-integrate-with-remote-desktop-services#deploy-the-joint-rds-and-application-proxy-scenario
