Hello,
I need some direction. we bought Windows server 2022 Standard license and installed it on a desktop. That came with a key. We then bought 2 1 Client by device server licenses at a retailer for our Windows Server 2022 Standard. Both have the tracking ID and not the key. We will be buying 2 1 client by device RDP licenses as well. I need to know how to install the Client by device Server license. When I did research online I only see Steps for RDS which is fine but I do not see anything for the Server.
I saw in previous issues to go to the volume licensing site and you can activate it there but when i click on the link to the site it says "The volume License servicing center has retired and you can activate it using m365 admin center." There are no directions as to where you need to go. I need to know how to install these CALs.
