Surface 4 updated to Win 11

I have a Microsoft Surface 4 running Win 10 which is alledgely not compatable with Win 11.

Two days ago an update was automatically processed and when the tablet rebooted, it was into Win 11.

How canthat be if the computer is non-compatable?

This is not a Surface laptop. This is an old Surface Pro 4. See Below.This is copied from the system info file is settings.

This is a tablet with detachable keyboard. I have had it for several years. Before this update, on the update sceen was a notice that said clearly that this computer is not compatable with Win 11 and had a link to "Windows Health Check" (?) and it ran a test and confirmed the computer is not compatable.

My concern is primarily will I be experiencing problems in the future? Or am I good to go?

May I know which version of Surface 4 you are using? Please add information after you know which Surface model you have.

If you are referring to the Surface Laptop 4, according to the Microsoft manual, this version is compatible with Windows 11.

According to Microsoft product support documentation, Surface Pro 4 is not officially supported by Windows 11. Devices running Windows 11 on unsupported hardware may not receive future updates from Microsoft, and it is recommended that you continue to use Windows 10 to ensure system stability.

Hello, it is possible to get Windows 11 push in Windows Update, but due to configuration requirements, even if you successfully upgrade, some of your drivers may be incompatible with Windows 11 and lose some functions.
